Since 1996, Coach Reynolds has been instrumental in Villa Park High School producing some of the top basketball players in Southern California including multiple All League, all CIF, and several Collegiate players as well as a McDonalds All American. Coach Reynolds has helped more than 17 players over the last 24 years to continue playing at a higher level after graduating from high school.
Villa Park has also set the standard for being a traditional powerhouse program in Southern California. The Spartans have made three CIF Finals in 1997, 2003, and 2017 as well as qualifying for the State tournament in 1997, 2003, 2006 and 2017. Currently Villa Park High School holds the Orange County CIF record for most consecutive home wins (73) from 1999-2007.
